It is with great pleasure and honour that I share - on behalf of Editorial Office and Editorial Board - wonderful news about a long-awaited promotion of the Statistics in Transition new series in the international publication space thanks to its selection for inclusion into the prestigious Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) database. Let me quote an excerpt from the Clarivate-Web of Science evaluation report: "Congratulations! "Statistics in Transition" has been selected for inclusion in Web of Science™. Welcome to Web of Science, the most trusted, publisher-independent global citation database." The indexing of ‘SiTns’ in the Journal Citation Reports list brings increased recognition of our periodical and increases its impact on the development of statistical science.

Many thanks to all collaborators and supporters of SiTns.

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Dear Collaborators and Partners,

Along with best wishes for the New Year, I would like to share with you, on behalf of the entire Editorial Office of the Statistics in Transition new series, the excellent news about the latest results of our joint efforts to systematically increase the visibility and recognition of our journal - including those of contributors to our publications. This news is about the inclusion of SiTns in the prestigious international abstraction/indexing database—Emerging Sources Citation Index / Web of Science.

It is with great pleasure that I quote to you (below) an excerpt from the final evaluation report of Clarivate-Web of Science: "Congratulations! "Statistics in Transition" has been selected for inclusion in Web of Science™. Welcome to Web of Science, the most trusted, publisher-independent global citation database."

On behalf of the entire Editorial Office, I would like to personally thank all our colleagues and partners for their contribution to these successful efforts: authors, reviewers, readers, and promoters – members of Editorial Board and Associate Editors.

Needless to say, this important achievement makes all of us not only more assertive about the way we proceed but also more motivated to do everything we can to ensure our journal is included in other prestigious indexing/abstracting databases as well.

Thank you in advance for your continued interest and support.

Wlodzimierz Okrasa
